No. Blackout describes the material, while the finished darkness also depends on mount position, edge gaps and other light entering the room.
Which treatments work well for bedrooms?

Can I keep daylight during the day?
Yes. A dual system or separate daytime and nighttime plan can give you softer daylight when you are awake and more coverage for sleep.
