Please read before scheduling. By booking any appointment you agree to all applicable terms below.
About This Visit
In-home measurement & smart blind consultation. Includes window measurements, fabric review, smart home compatibility check, and a full itemized quote. No obligation to proceed. No products sold online.

Appointment Scope
Measurement

Your booking is for an In-Home Measurement & Smart Blind Consultation. This visit includes:

  • Precise window measurements for every included window
  • Review of blind options, fabric choices, and motor configurations
  • Smart home compatibility check — we verify a Matter-compatible border router is present in your home (e.g. Amazon Echo, Apple HomePod, Google Nest, SmartThings)
  • Full itemized quote delivered before we leave — no obligation to proceed
No products are sold online. All projects begin with an in-home measurement visit. Installation is only scheduled after a confirmed order and 50% deposit.

Measurement Visit Fee
$50 Fee

A $50 measurement fee is required to secure your appointment.

  • The fee is non-refundable
  • If you proceed with a Blinds100 project, the full $50 is credited toward your order total — making the visit effectively free
  • If you choose not to proceed, the fee compensates for time and travel
Response Guarantee: If Blinds100 fails to return a missed call within 3 business hours, your measurement visit is free.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
24-Hour Notice
  • At least 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule without penalty
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will forfeit the $50 fee
  • No-shows will forfeit the $50 fee

Estimates & Pricing
  • All pricing discussed during the visit is an estimate based on measurements, materials, and project scope
  • Final pricing is confirmed in writing before any order is placed
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of the measurement visit
  • Blinds100 does not provide binding quotes over the phone — in-person measurement is required for accuracy

Deposits & Orders
50% Deposit
  • A 50% deposit is required to place any custom order
  • The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion — after installation, demo, and walkthrough
  • Once a deposit is paid and manufacturing begins, the order is final and non-refundable
  • Custom blinds typically ship within 3–4 weeks of order confirmation. Once they arrive, we will contact you to schedule your installation appointment

Site Conditions & Access
  • Customers must provide safe and clear access to all windows included in the project
  • Pets must be secured away from the work area
  • Window areas must be free of furniture and decor — Blinds100 does not move furniture
  • Blinds100 does not perform structural modifications or electrical hardwiring

Blinds100 serves approximately an 8-mile radius from Harbor City, CA — covering Torrance, Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Lomita, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Redondo Beach, Carson, Gardena, and surrounding communities.

  • By booking, you confirm your property is within our service area
  • Appointments outside the service area may be declined or subject to additional travel fees
About Installation Day
Full blind installation, motor setup, and smart home integration. Scheduled after your blinds arrive — typically 3–4 weeks after your deposit. We'll reach out to book your install date at that time.

Installation Scope
Install

Your installation appointment includes:

  • Full installation of all custom blinds in your confirmed order
  • Motor testing and calibration for every blind
  • Smart home setup and integration (Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit, or SmartThings)
  • Complete demo and walkthrough of all features before we leave

Cancellations & Rescheduling
48-Hour Notice
  • At least 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule your installation
  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows may result in a rescheduling fee
  • Blinds100 reserves the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances with advance notice

Customer Requirements — Day Of
Required

The following must be in place when we arrive:

  • An adult (18+) must be present and available for the full duration of installation
  • All furniture and decor must be cleared from window areas — Blinds100 does not move furniture
  • A power outlet must be accessible near the work area
  • Your Wi-Fi password must be available for smart home setup
  • Pets must be secured away from all work areas
If these conditions are not met on arrival, installation may need to be rescheduled and a rescheduling fee may apply.

Property & Surface Conditions
  • Small mounting holes in walls and frames are a normal part of installation — touch-up paint is the customer's responsibility
  • Pre-existing damage discovered during installation is not Blinds100's responsibility
  • If surfaces are found unsuitable on install day, work will pause while alternatives are discussed
  • Blinds100 does not perform structural modifications or electrical hardwiring

Existing Window Coverings
  • Existing blinds or hardware removed during installation will be set aside inside your home
  • Blinds100 does not haul away, dispose of, or transport any existing window coverings off your property
  • Disposal or donation arrangements are the customer's responsibility

Final Balance — Payment
50% Due After
  • The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion — after installation, demo, and walkthrough
  • Accepted payment methods: credit card, debit card, ACH bank transfer, Apple Pay, PayPal, or Venmo — all processed securely via QuickBooks
  • A detailed invoice will be provided on or before installation day

Warranty
2-Year
  • Every installation includes a 2-year warranty on product defects and workmanship
  • Warranty does not cover misuse, pet damage, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
  • For any warranty issue, contact Blinds100 directly at (424) 210-7003 — no third parties

  • Installation Day (no additional fee) — Full installation, motor setup, smart home integration, and walkthrough. Scheduled when your blinds arrive, approximately 3–4 weeks after your deposit. We will contact you at that time to book your install date.
No products are sold online. All projects begin with a measurement visit. Installation is only scheduled after a confirmed order and 50% deposit.

  • Measurement fee: $50, non-refundable, credited in full toward any order placed
  • 50% deposit required to place a custom order — non-refundable once manufacturing begins
  • Remaining 50% balance due upon completion — after installation, demo, and walkthrough
  • Quotes valid for 30 days from measurement visit date
  • Accepted payments: credit card, debit card, ACH bank transfer, Apple Pay, PayPal, or Venmo — all processed securely via QuickBooks
Response Guarantee: No callback within 3 business hours of a missed call = measurement visit is free.

  • Installation appointments: 48-hour advance notice required to avoid rescheduling fees

Smart Home Requirements
Important

Blinds100 installs motorized blinds powered by Matter over Thread — a smart home standard. For full smart home integration, the following must be in place:

  • A Matter-compatible border router must be present in your home — this is a device such as an Amazon Echo (4th gen or later), Apple HomePod (2nd gen or later), Google Nest Hub, or SmartThings Hub
  • We verify compatibility during the measurement visit — if a compatible device is not present, smart home features will not be available
  • Your Wi-Fi password must be available on installation day
  • Blinds can still function via remote control without a smart home hub, if preferred

  • Existing coverings removed during installation will be set aside inside your home — not hauled away
  • Disposal or donation of removed items is the customer's responsibility

Warranty & Liability
2-Year Warranty
  • Every installation includes a 2-year warranty on product defects and workmanship
  • Warranty does not cover misuse, pet damage, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
  • Blinds100's liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered
  • Post-install support available by phone or text at (424) 210-7003
