Specify the opening before the allowance

A general per-window allowance can hide differences in width, fabric, operating system and access. Share an opening schedule, the room goals and the preferred treatments so the quote can identify what is actually included. Final dimensions and mounting conditions are confirmed on site.

Keep selections traceable

• Give every opening a room name and identifier.
• Record the product, fabric code, opacity, color and hardware finish.
• Specify manual or motorized operation and the intended power arrangement.
• Identify any smart-home platform, required equipment and setup responsibility.
• Flag oversized spans, unusual access, specialty mounting and electrical work.

Separate roles and approvals

Confirm who approves the fabric, who signs off on the opening schedule and who coordinates site access. Keep revised selections with the current proposal so an earlier concept is not mistaken for the manufacturing instruction.
