A useful budget starts with the opening

There is no single price that fits every custom shade. Width, height, product, fabric, motor, mounting and installation conditions all affect the finished project. An advertised starting price is not a substitute for a quote covering your windows.

What belongs in the quote

• Product and fabric: the treatment, opacity, color and finish for each room.
• Exact fit: the measured dimensions, mount, access and any special hardware.
• Controls: manual or motorized operation, power, remotes and required compatible equipment.
• Service: measurement, manufacture, installation, testing and the agreed setup.
• Final total: applicable tax, any eligible offer, excluded work and the written warranty.

Use examples as context, not a promise

Wide curtains, vertical treatments and specialty work should be compared as complete openings, not as standard roller-shade units.
