Light can still enter around the sides, top, sill, doors, and other room openings. We inspect the frame, mounting space, and sightline from the bed so the expected result is clear before manufacturing.

Does blackout fabric mean a completely dark room?

Blackout fabric blocks light through the material. Light can still enter around the sides, top, sill, doors, and other room openings.

Is an inside or outside mount better for darkness?

It depends on the opening. An outside mount with suitable overlap can reduce edge light, while some windows are better suited to an inside mount or compatible light blockers.

How will I know what result to expect?

We inspect the frame, trim, mounting space, and other light paths, then document the selected approach before anything is ordered.
