Ask when the treatment will be usable
A production or shipping promise is not the same as an installation appointment. A complete schedule includes final approval, manufacture, transport, local receipt, installation and any adjustment needed before normal use.
What the three-day statement means
As checked on September 30, 2026, the 3 Day Blinds FAQ says most custom blinds and shades are manufactured and shipped within three business days. It lists specialty products, including shutters, drapery and specialty shapes, as possible exceptions. That statement should not be read as a promise that every order will be installed within three days.
Ask the consultant to confirm the current schedule for the exact products in your proposal. The same distinction applies when comparing any installer, including BLINDS100.
Keep a simple timeline with the quote
- Final approval: when are fabric, dimensions, controls and payment requirements complete?
- Production: what is the estimate for each product family?
- Shipping and receipt: when should the installer actually receive the products?
- Installation: is a date confirmed or only estimated, and what must happen before it is booked?
- Exceptions: how are shortages, damage, changes or remakes handled?
For mixed orders, ask about partial installation
A project containing rollers and specialty curtains may have different completion dates. Ask whether ready items can be installed first or whether everything will wait for one appointment. Record any additional visit cost and who will keep you updated.
Do not trade scope for a headline
